GRADING: There will be two exams a midterm
and a final, issue papers and one written paper. Your grade will be
based on a point accumulation:
| Exam 1 | = | 40 points |
| Exam 2 | = | 40 points |
| Essay | = | 20 points |
| Total | = | 100 points |
You will receive your letter grade based on the following point spread:

+ and - will be added to the grade depending on attendance and class participation.
Blue books and Scantron forms will be needed for the exams. If you have missed the first you will have to take a make up during the final exam period.
No papers will be accepted after the last day of class. Turn late papers in to the office secretary who will put them in my mail box or in the social sciences drop box located outside the office. DO NOT SLIP THEM UNDER THE DOOR. They are very likely to get lost or damaged that way.
No grades will be given out by email,
fax or on the telephone. This is to protect your privacy.
