• Prospective Student - a students interested in entering Cal Poly as a freshman PHIL major.
• Transfer Student - a students currently enrolled at another post-secondary institution interested in entering Cal Poly as a PHIL major.
• PHIL Major or PHIL Minor - a student currently in either the PHIL major or PHIL minor program.
