Philosophy at Cal Poly

The Philosophy Department at Cal Poly is committed to excellence in teaching and student achievement. We offer a Philosophy major leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree with an optional concentration in Ethics and Society. We also offer a Philosophy minor for non-philosophy majors. The learning objectives of the philosophy curriculum reflect the diverse research interests of our faculty and our commitment to a philosophical education with a strong foundation in the history of philosophy.

Religious Studies at Cal Poly

The Philosophy Department at Cal Poly also offers a minor in Religious Studies and supports a variety of events and activities related to that program.
