Open House T-shirt Design Competition
Students – design a T-shirt for the CLA print-your-own-shirt activity at Open House in April. The winner will receive a prize of $300! Submit a one-color design that appeals to both incoming students and alumni. Design for an 8 x 10 inch space. Submit a low-resolution version of your design to cla@calpoly.edu by Friday, March 18. Include “T-shirt Design” in the subject line. If your design is chosen, you will need to provide a vector image for reproduction. A committee of CLA representatives will choose the winner, and you will be notified by Friday, March 25.
Statistics Department Offers Consulting Services Through March 11
The Statistics Department provides a consulting service to the university community to facilitate research design and data analysis in a wide variety of disciplines. The service supports faculty and staff projects and research, assists students working on senior projects and graduate research, and offers advise on data collection, experimental design and analysis of research projects. Innovation Quest: Final Information Session

Students – are you interested in free food and a chance to win $15,000? Join Innovation Quest for its final information session. The Innovation Quest (iQ) competition is back for the 13th year and students of all colleges and majors are highly encouraged to apply and participate. iQ is a contest that fosters entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation and helps students learn about the journey from idea to prototype to company. Students with projects, inventions, creations, or startup concepts can bring their ideas to iQ and compete for cash prizes. This year’s competition will award at least $30,000 in prizes, with a $15,000 first place prize. If you don’t have an idea yet, there will be plenty of teams searching for more members.
