Cal Poly A Cappella Ensemble Take it SLO to Perform June 5

Take It SLO, a Cal Poly a cappella ensemble, will present its annual Spring Concerts at 1 and 7 p.m. Sunday, June 5, in Room 218 in the Davidson Music Center (No. 45) on campus.

The 15-member vocal ensemble will perform a variety of songs, including new works, all arranged by students. The group’s members represent a variety of majors on campus.

Take It SLO has released multiple CDs and is in the process of recording a new four-song album. The group's last recording, “SLO Motion,” was released in spring 2014. “SLO Motion” and the ensemble’s other past albums are available on iTunes, Spotify and Loudr.fm.

Admission to the Spring Concert is $7 at the door for the public and $5 for students.

The Take It SLO concerts are sponsored by Cal Poly’s College of Liberal Arts and Music Department.
